Junior External Auditor (French/English or German/English)

About the role

Grant Thornton Luxembourg is looking for a motivated Junior External Auditor to join its Audit department from January 2027. The role offers a blend of on‑site client work, office collaboration and remote flexibility, providing a solid foundation for a career in audit and assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the audit team in delivering high‑quality statutory audits for a diverse client base.
• Identify, research and communicate audit issues to senior staff.
• Ensure audit work complies with Grant Thornton standards and professional guidelines.
• Support client relationship management and contribute to practice development.
• Collaborate with client teams to build rapport and deliver a positive client experience.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC +5) in Audit, Accounting or Finance.
• First internship or experience in accounting/external audit is an advantage.
• Fluent in French and English or German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive, rigorous, results‑oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic team.

Required skills

• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
