Junior ETL Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior ETL Developer to join a client team in Luxembourg within a European institutional environment. You will support data integration and warehousing initiatives, working alongside experienced data professionals to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the data‑warehouse lifecycle.
• Develop data models, data marts and data warehouses.
• Assist in designing ETL processes and perform capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Analyse data, improve data models and document ETL components.
• Contribute to best‑practice definitions and promote development standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in ETL development or data integration.
• Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data‑warehousing principles.
• Familiarity with Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Objects or similar reporting tools.
• Understanding of data modelling and reporting concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, onsite environment.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
