Investment Management Internship – Luxembourg

About the role

HALTRA is seeking a motivated intern to join its Investment Team in Luxembourg. This 6‑month placement offers hands‑on exposure to portfolio management, research, and operational projects within a sustainable investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with portfolio analysis, cash‑flow monitoring and asset reviews.
• Maintain and enhance models and tools for asset allocation, investment analysis and performance tracking.
• Support the creation of investment and portfolio dashboards.
• Collaborate on operational projects with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Conduct market and macroeconomic research.
• Source and perform due diligence on companies and funds across sectors and asset classes.
• Help with portfolio modeling, valuation and the production of the yearly impact report.

Required profile

• Recently graduated or currently pursuing a degree in finance, investment, banking or economics.
• Theoretical knowledge of portfolio management and financial markets.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with an analytical mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg (preferred).
