International Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

About the role

Join Deloitte's International Tax team in Luxembourg as an Assistant Manager/Manager. You will advise multinational groups on Luxembourg corporate tax, BEPS measures, and emerging Pillar II regulations, helping clients optimise their global tax and cash positions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Luxembourg tax advice on corporate tax, interest limitation, CFC, anti‑hybrid measures and US/Pillar II reforms.
• Assist clients in navigating Pillar II regulations and related tax accounting implications.
• Support business development by acquiring new clients and expanding the advisory portfolio.
• Optimize clients' international financing structures, profit repatriation and business models.
• Explain modelling approaches and calculations to staff and clients.
• Coordinate with local and foreign colleagues on cross‑border tax matters.
• Participate in internal and external industry working groups.
• Coach and develop junior team members through delegation, supervision and technical meetings.

Required profile

• University degree in Tax, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international tax within an audit, advisory, law firm or corporate setting.
• Strong judgment, risk‑management mindset and commitment to high‑quality work.
• Fluent English; French and German are strong assets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS‑Office.
• Knowledge of IFRS tax accounting.
• Familiarity with US GAAP tax accounting (asset).
