Internal Audit Senior Associate / Vice President – Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to lead and execute the annual internal audit plan for our Asset Management business in Luxembourg and its European subsidiaries. You will oversee audit engagements, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the overall control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report audit engagements end‑to‑end, delivering high‑quality work on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with global audit teams to ensure comprehensive legal‑entity coverage and promptly raise emerging control issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and information security in line with firm policies.
• Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders, control groups, external auditors, and regulators while preserving independence.
• Finalize findings, perform root‑cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Conduct continuous monitoring, track key metrics, and identify adverse trends.
• Coach and review work of team members, offering constructive feedback.
• Stay current on industry and regulatory changes and participate in relevant control forums.
• Drive efficiency through automation and innovative use of technology.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal or external audit within financial services, preferably asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent financial‑services experience.
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts and ability to assess business and technology risks.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior management.
• Analytical mindset, self‑motivated, and comfortable working under pressure.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
