In‑House Accountant – Luxembourg

About the role
We are seeking an in‑house Accountant to join a growing international investment firm in Luxembourg. You will work within a close‑knit finance team of around twenty professionals, supporting the firm’s private‑equity and real‑estate activities across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing by preparing schedules, reconciliations and assisting with financial reporting.
- Record, reconcile and monitor intercompany transactions, ensuring consistency across the group.
- Prepare VAT returns and other indirect‑tax documentation, liaising with external advisors and Luxembourg tax authorities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Support ad‑hoc finance projects, including financial analyses, process optimisation and audit documentation preparation.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or external audit within Luxembourg, preferably in a fiduciary, asset‑management or corporate‑services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Familiarity with SPVs, holding companies, private‑equity or real‑estate investment structures is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English and comfortable working in a multicultural, international setting.
