Head of Simplification Division (Luxembourg)

About the role

The European Investment Bank is seeking a senior leader to head its Simplification Division at the Luxembourg headquarters. You will be responsible for driving the Bank’s agenda to streamline internal processes, reduce complexity and improve staff experience while supporting the Group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer the strategic direction of simplification initiatives across the EIB Group.
• Identify, prioritize and monitor projects that deliver the greatest efficiency gains.
• Establish transparent methodologies for capturing and assessing simplification opportunities.
• Mobilise internal and external resources to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of reforms.
• Collaborate closely with Directorates, Services and senior management to embed simplification into broader operational plans.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large‑scale organisational change or simplification programmes.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in a complex, multi‑national environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable impact.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
