Head of Managed Payroll Services

About the role

SD Worx is looking for a Head of Managed Payroll Services to lead its payroll team in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for developing the team’s capabilities, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery, and driving continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage on‑shore and off‑shore payroll teams, providing coaching, performance reviews and recruitment support.
• Ensure payroll processes comply with local legislation and manage associated risks.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain strong client relationships, delivering services on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Oversee profit and loss for the payroll services division, manage budgets and forecast financial performance.
• Collaborate with implementation, sales, services and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and avoid silos.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Extensive experience in payroll services management, preferably in a multi‑country environment.
• Proven ability to lead remote delivery centres and multi‑stream programmes.
• Strong change‑management knowledge and experience.
