Head of Managed Payroll Services

About the role

As Head of Managed Payroll Services you will lead the payroll team in Luxembourg, developing capabilities, knowledge and efficiency while ensuring accurate, on‑time delivery of payroll services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage on‑shore and off‑shore payroll teams and managers, providing coaching, performance appraisals and recruitment support.
• Ensure payroll processes comply with local laws and regulations and manage associated risks.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high satisfaction levels.
• Oversee profit and loss for the payroll services division, manage budgets, forecast performance and optimise profitability.
• Collaborate with implementation, sales, services and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and avoid silos across the organisation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Substantial experience in payroll services management.
• Experience working with a remote delivery centre.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stream programmes in large, complex organisations.
• Familiarity with formal change management methodologies.
