Head of Key Account Management

About the role

Avaloq, a Swiss-founded wealth management technology provider serving financial institutions worldwide, is hiring a Head of Key Account Management for its Luxembourg office. You will shape and manage the Key Management team across Region Europe, driving existing business performance, regional growth through the sales strategy, financial targets and client base expansion, while ensuring delivery, performance and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial matters including contract governance, pricing discussions, upselling, renewals and revenue forecasting to drive retention and revenue growth
• Enforce accurate forecasting, weekly updates of CRM sales data and adherence to 'Road to Home' KPI expectations
• Coordinate with Global Sales Operations, Regional Controlling and Finance on revenue recognition and deal structure validation, covering billing and account administration oversight
• Contribute to regional governance structures, collaborating with Sales, Project Delivery, AMS, CTO and Strategy functions
• Lead, motivate and develop teams to foster collaboration, accountability and customer-centric performance across Region Europe

Required profile

• 10+ years of proven experience leading high-performing teams in Sales or a similar role, ideally in banking, wealth management or fintech
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken English and German (C1)
• Demonstrable success in up-selling to banks, preferably in software and/or wealth management products in on-premises and SaaS models
• Profound C-level network and strong client relationship management, negotiation and cross-regional collaboration skills
