Head of Finance – Luxembourg

About the role

DATA4 is seeking a senior finance leader to head the financial operations of its Luxembourg corporate entities. Reporting to the Group Accounting, Consolidation & Finance Transformation Director, you will ensure accurate accounting, tax compliance, and robust financial control across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and manage the Luxembourg accounting organisation, guaranteeing high‑quality entries for external and intercompany financing, OPEX, and M&A costs.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closings under local GAAP and IFRS, and prepare the quarterly consolidation package.
• Coordinate with local auditors for statutory and group audits, overseeing audit report issuance.
• Direct tax declaration processes, work with external advisors, and support tax optimisation initiatives.
• Monitor budget execution, drive budgeting and re‑forecasting cycles, and produce performance dashboards for the executive committee.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, propose optimisation measures, and ensure compliance with internal control and SOX procedures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, and tax within a multinational environment.
• Proven track record of managing full‑cycle close, audits, and regulatory reporting under both local GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to produce insightful financial reports and dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
