Head of Finance – Crypto & Merchant Acquiring

About the role

Revolut is seeking a tech‑savvy Head of Finance to lead crypto‑related financial operations and merchant acquiring support in Luxembourg. The role will build a scalable finance operating model, oversee treasury, accounting, tax and regulatory reporting, and partner with global teams to drive the growth of crypto products.

Key responsibilities

• Build a clean, scalable finance operating model (processes, controls, reconciliations) from day one.
• Set up and run treasury, liquidity, and safeguarding frameworks.
• Lead local accounting, financial reporting, and EMI regulatory reporting.
• Own day‑to‑day finance operations and act as the point of contact for CSSF finance and prudential matters.
• Deliver financial and operational reporting to support acquiring and crypto product scaling.
• Communicate financial performance, risks, and key metrics to leadership and advisory board.
• Drive improvements in financial performance through better visibility, controls, and decision support.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation across reporting and finance controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services such as EMI, payments, banking or acquiring.
• Proven experience setting up a regulated entity, applying for licences and preparing regulatory capital and financial projections.
• Expertise in prudential and regulatory reporting, intragroup charging and transfer pricing.
• Hands‑on knowledge of payments or acquiring finance models, including settlement flows, safeguarding/funds segregation and merchant economics.
• Strong execution mindset with ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.
