Head of Finance / CFO

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Finance / CFO to lead the consolidation of financial statements across all entities of our fintech holding, ensure compliance with Cyprus and IFRS standards, and drive strategic financial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements for the entire group.
• Oversee financial and management accounting, guaranteeing accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate the annual audit with external auditors in Cyprus.
• Lead the implementation and migration to a new accounting/reporting system, including process automation and optimisation.
• Develop and execute tax planning aligned with corporate objectives and local regulations.
• Design and maintain internal controls, financial policies and procedures to support growth.
• Supervise local finance teams across entities to ensure consistent, high‑quality financial data.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance or accounting experience in fintech, payments or high‑transaction‑volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus accounting, tax and regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in audit coordination, financial reporting systems and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of revenue models based on payment flows, commissions and transactional income.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, able to present insights to the Board.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or equivalent is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Russian and English.
