Head of Finance & Accounting (Leasing)

About the role

BIL Lease is seeking a Head of Finance & Accounting to lead the finance function of its leasing entity. Reporting to the Group CFO and the Head of Company, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strategic support for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under LUX GAAP and IFRS.
• Lead the closing process, coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely statutory reporting.
• Supervise accounting for financial leasing operations, including residual values, depreciation, interest recognition and IFRS 16 compliance.
• Maintain the integrity of accounting data linked to the Cassiopae system and drive system enhancements.
• Oversee regulatory and tax compliance, including VAT and Luxembourg tax reporting.
• Monitor daily cash flows, produce short‑, medium‑ and long‑term forecasts and manage financing arrangements.
• Develop, monitor and analyse budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance and accounting within a leasing or financial services environment.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams and interacting with senior management.
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg accounting regulations and international reporting standards.
