Group Tax Expert – Strategic Tax Projects

About the role

Pictet Group is seeking a Group Tax Expert to join its Group Tax Office. The role focuses on steering strategic tax projects, managing tax risks and controls, and coordinating responses to tax authority inquiries and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise on direct and indirect taxes for strategic projects.
• Implement tax controls and audits, issue recommendations, and monitor their implementation.
• Conduct tax risk assessments and design mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure tax considerations are integrated.
• Monitor developments in tax law, including CRS, FATCA, QI and DAC6, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics or Law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar tax function.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, able to work independently and under pressure.

Required skills

• Expertise in tax transparency frameworks (QI, FATCA, CRS, DAC6).
• Strong knowledge of the tax environment in European countries.
