Group Controller

About the role

The Group Controller steers financial performance across the Group, supports executive decision‑making and drives controlling excellence. Based in Luxembourg, the role combines deep industrial controlling expertise with leadership of senior finance professionals and advanced SAP capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual Group budgeting process, define guidelines, coordinate subsidiaries and ensure quality of consolidated figures.
• Coordinate monthly Group financial reporting, perform actual‑vs‑budget analysis and drive business reviews for Luxembourg entities.
• Oversee industrial costing, standard and actual costing, production variance analysis and plant controlling for manufacturing sites.
• Partner with Sales on pricing, margin calculations and profitability analysis for industrial goods.
• Own inventory accounting, valuation rules, WIP monitoring and SKU master‑data governance in SAP S/4HANA.
• Coach and develop a controlling team of 4‑5 members, promote best practices across subsidiaries and maintain strong relationships with plant and finance managers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in industrial controlling and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership of finance teams and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement of controlling processes.
• Experience managing SAP S/4 rollouts and finance analytics projects.
