Fund & Corporate Legal Officer

About the role

Belasko is seeking a detail‑oriented Fund & Corporate Legal Officer to join its growing Luxembourg team. You will work closely with clients, boards and internal colleagues to ensure smooth operation of fund structures and robust corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for clients on corporate governance and statutory matters.
• Manage a portfolio of Luxembourg funds and special purpose vehicles, maintaining ongoing compliance.
• Provide commercially aware guidance on governance best practices.
• Build strong client relationships by understanding their structures, timelines and priorities.
• Support controlled payment processes in line with internal governance frameworks.
• Coordinate and attend board and shareholder meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions.
• Prepare board packs, draft AGM/EGM documentation and maintain accurate corporate registers.
• Collaborate with auditors, legal advisors, notaries, regulators and other third parties.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Luxembourg financial services (funds, corporate services or legal).
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund structures and corporate governance requirements.
• Client‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
