Full Professor or Associate Professor in Public Health

About the role

The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Luxembourg seeks a Full or Associate Professor to lead innovative, interdisciplinary public‑health teaching at the bachelor level. The role combines curriculum development, digital pedagogy, and research leadership across medicine, nursing, and midwifery programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a state‑of‑the‑art public‑health curriculum incorporating digital learning platforms, data‑driven simulations, case‑based learning, and interactive policy analysis.
• Coordinate and harmonise public‑health teaching activities across multiple health‑related degree programmes.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinical partners, and external institutions to ensure an integrated learning experience.
• Develop and lead a coherent research programme in population health, epidemiology, health systems, and digital health.
• Supervise graduate students and secure research funding in public‑health domains.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised research record in public health or related fields.
• Experience in teaching public‑health topics such as epidemiology, disease prevention, health policy, and health‑systems analysis.
• Commitment to bridging research, practice, and policy within an academic environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external health‑care partners.
