Financial Controller – Private Banking

About the role

As a Financial Controller you will act as the financial sparring partner for the Private Banking business, providing insights that support decision‑making, performance management and strategic ambitions. You will join an international Financial Controlling team and work closely with business leaders and ING Group stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Private Banking and management team to identify drivers, opportunities and risks.
• Lead the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.
• Contribute to monthly analytical closing and performance analysis.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting and build management dashboards.
• Transform complex data into actionable insights and support stakeholders in using reporting tools.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation initiatives and develop new reporting capabilities for Private Banking products and clients.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering, preferably in banking.
• Strong understanding of banking products and financial performance drivers.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and improve processes.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
