Assistant Manager – Finance Controlling

About the role

Join Deloitte Luxembourg’s Internal Finance & Controlling team as an Assistant Manager. You will work closely with the Controlling Manager to support decision‑making, performance monitoring and the firm’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and challenge monthly financial results, monitor budgets, forecasts and variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting and medium‑term planning, coordinating assumptions with business units.
• Produce accurate management reports, ensure data consistency across sources and perform financial reconciliations.
• Optimize controlling processes, support firm‑wide financial projects and promote best practices and internal controls.
• Act as a finance partner for operational functions, delivering profitability, cost and investment analyses.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or a related field.
• 4–5 years of finance & controlling experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Very good command of Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, e.g., Power BI.
