Field Service Technician – Industrial Plants

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Technical Service team. You will be responsible for maintaining and modernising iron and steelmaking plants as well as environmental technology installations. The role combines on‑site interventions abroad with office work at our Luxembourg test facility.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and modernise industrial equipment.
• Supervise erection activities and assist with commissioning.
• Document site work progress and provide after‑sales services.
• Travel abroad for 3‑5 day site interventions and spend the remaining time in Luxembourg.

Required profile

• Technical background in mechanics or mechatronics.
• 3‑5 years of experience in an industrial environment (considered an asset).
• Good command of English.
• Open personality with strong communication skills.
