Experienced Capital Markets Lawyer

About the role

Arendt Medernach is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its Luxembourg office and support a wide range of equity capital markets transactions. You will work closely with partners and interact daily with international issuers, banks, and institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist partners on equity capital markets deals, including IPOs, follow‑on offerings, private placements and admissions to trading.
• Advise on capital markets regulation, securities law, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
• Engage directly with clients, regulatory authorities, issuers, banks, private equity firms, asset managers and other market participants.
• Collaborate with other Arendt teams, leveraging cross‑practice expertise to deliver comprehensive advice.
• Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance legal knowledge and soft skills.
• Train junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in law, preferably with an LL.M.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience focused on equity capital markets.
• Strong logical‑analytical thinking and excellent drafting abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; French and/or German are a plus.
• Open‑minded, dynamic, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
