Electromechanical Engineer

About the role

The Electromechanical Engineer will provide design and analysis services across electrical engineering, supporting product development for multiple business units. You will work closely with mechanical engineers and other disciplines to deliver integrated electro‑mechanical and motion‑control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, dimension, implement, test and maintain electrical, electro‑mechanical and motion‑control systems, including PLC code.
• Collaborate with partners and customers to integrate HITEC electrical and automation solutions.
• Define, document, implement and test new features and technologies for existing or new products.
• Present and defend technical concepts to partners and stakeholders.
• Support functional testing by creating and executing test plans.
• Develop best practices for product design and verification.
• Research and disseminate emerging technologies within the department.

Required profile

• Engineer or master‑level diploma in electrical or automation engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with electro‑mechanical devices such as electric motors and power electronics.
• Fluent English for technical discussions and documentation; German, French or Luxembourgish a plus.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Background in control theory and familiarity with PLC and PC programming languages is a plus.
