Commissioning Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Commissioning Technician to install, test and commission electrical and mechanical products for our customers. The role involves on‑site work in Luxembourg and abroad, ensuring safe and reliable operation of equipment such as satellite antennas.

Key responsibilities

• Execute electrical and mechanical mounting instructions to install products.
• Diagnose breakdowns, perform troubleshooting and carry out commissioning, debugging and acceptance testing.
• Conduct test procedures and maintenance activities together with the commissioning engineer.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and write concise reports in English after each intervention.
• Maintain a safe working environment, work at height using harnesses and cherry pickers, and manage tools, consumables and department inventory.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel internationally for missions lasting several weeks.
• Technical education in electronics, mechanical or electrical engineering (Bachelor’s degree or BTS) or 3‑5 years of industry experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical drawings, cabling debugging, equipment testing and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Ability to work without vertigo, reliable, adaptable and able to work autonomously.
