Director of Business Development – Enterprise Payments

About the role

PingPong is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead the enterprise payments strategy and drive high‑value partnerships. You will own the pipeline, negotiate with C‑level executives, and expand our presence across large marketplaces, digital platforms, and smart‑device manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure strategic partnerships with enterprise clients, including Chinese marketplaces, digital platforms, and EV makers.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans for acquiring, issuing, and B2B payment solutions.
• Build multi‑level relationships within target organisations and act as the primary point of contact.
• Lead complex negotiations with senior executives to establish long‑term agreements.
• Analyse market trends, identify new verticals, and craft value‑driven propositions.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless solution integration.
• Manage sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and revenue growth against company targets.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships within payments, fintech, or cross‑border payments.
• Established network with enterprise clients such as marketplaces, digital platforms, and multinational corporations.
• Proven ability to close high‑value deals and manage long sales cycles.
• Strong consultative sales approach and deep understanding of payment ecosystems.
