Depot Maintenance Technician

About the role

You will ensure the safe, reliable and continuous operation of technical installations at a high‑risk fuel depot in Luxembourg. The position combines hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting of electromechanical systems and close collaboration with safety and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, measuring systems and loading equipment.
• Diagnose faults, repair equipment and test after interventions to guarantee operational continuity.
• Read and troubleshoot Omron and Siemens PLCs, analyse alarms and support automation troubleshooting.
• Inspect, calibrate and maintain sensors and instrumentation in ATEX‑controlled areas.
• Assist with train unloading, equipment inspections and safe loading or pumping operations (20‑40% of time).
• Participate in on‑call duties during evenings and weekends as required.
• Apply HSSE, Seveso and ATEX regulations, report risks and contribute to safety improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electricity, electromechanics and automation.
• Ability to read electrical and automation diagrams.
• Practical experience with Omron and Siemens PLCs.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and ATEX environments.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Technical diploma in electromechanics, industrial electricity or automation.
• Low‑ and high‑voltage electrical certification (Q) and ATEX Level 2 (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driving licence (category B).
