Depot Maintenance Technician

About the role

You will be responsible for keeping critical fuel depot installations safe, reliable and operational in a high‑risk industrial environment. Working hands‑on with electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment, you will collaborate closely with the Depot Safety, Maintenance & Project Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, measuring systems and loading equipment.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and test equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Read and troubleshoot Omron and Siemens PLCs, analyse alarms and support instrumentation calibration.
• Assist with train unloading, equipment inspections and safe loading or pumping operations (20‑40% of time).
• Participate in on‑call duties, including evenings and weekends when required.
• Apply HSSE, Seveso and ATEX regulations, report risks and contribute to safety improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong background in industrial electricity, electromechanics and automation.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Technical diploma in electromechanics, industrial electricity or automation.
• Valid low‑ and high‑voltage electrical certification and ATEX Level 2 (or willingness to obtain).
• Driving licence B.
