Depositary Officer (Luxembourg)

About the role

As a Depositary Officer within Northern Trust's Global Services Luxembourg team, you will serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of depositary clients focused on real estate, infrastructure, and private equity funds. You will ensure regulatory compliance, provide operational expertise, and support senior partners across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver depositary operation services to large promoters and moderately complex funds.
• Monitor fund activities and ensure compliance with Luxembourg AIF regulations.
• Prepare and support fund board papers and attend board meetings.
• Assist with on‑site inspection testing and complete fund NAV reviews.
• Oversee investment restriction compliance and update breach registers.
• Participate in client onboarding meetings and interact with senior management as needed.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong functional and industry knowledge of fund regulations.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant qualification such as ACCA or a Diploma in Mutual Funds (or equivalent).
