Data Protection Intern (f/m/d)

About the role

Join the Compliance team at Deutsche Börse Group as a Data Protection Intern. You will support the Data Protection Officer and gain hands‑on experience with GDPR compliance within Clearstream Fund Centre S.A., a key part of the Group’s financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the data protection area in ensuring compliance with EU and local data protection regulations.
• Handle internal and external data‑protection inquiries.
• Prepare analyses and reports on current data‑protection topics.
• Support the organization and delivery of data‑protection training sessions.
• Participate in project‑related activities and perform administrative and organisational tasks.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme (ideally law or a comparable field with a focus on GDPR/data protection) or graduated within the last six months.
• Strong interest in personal data protection and the financial industry.
• Commitment, independence, accuracy, good organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
• Very good written and spoken English; French or German is a plus.
