Customs & Trade Facilitation Manager, Government and Public Sector Advisory

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Manager to lead strategy and transformation projects at the intersection of international trade, customs governance, and digital modernisation. The role focuses on advising customs administrations, customs unions, ministries and international organisations on trade facilitation reforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver consulting engagements for customs and tax administrations, customs unions and international institutions covering transformation, modernisation and trade facilitation agendas.
• Own projects related to Single Window, interoperability and data‑exchange workstreams, advising on architecture, governance and implementation road‑maps.
• Design and deliver training, capacity‑building and knowledge‑transfer programmes for public‑sector partners.
• Manage client relationships, contribute to proposal writing, business development and represent the team in workshops, conferences and working groups.
• Coach junior consultants, structure multi‑workstream engagements and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in trade facilitation, customs modernisation or Single Window implementation, preferably with public administrations and international organisations.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, delivering trainings and speaking at international forums.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build engagements from scratch and operate autonomously.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
