Custody Operations Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Custody Operations Analyst to support a high‑priority remediation initiative for a leading financial institution in Luxembourg. The role involves validating and correcting client custody account setups across a large portfolio, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate client custody account configurations against opening documentation and market infrastructure settings.
• Perform detailed, account‑by‑account verification for approximately 1,600 custody accounts.
• Cross‑check information between account opening forms, market counterparties, and internal systems.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to resolve discrepancies and document corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of findings and support remediation reporting.
• Liaise with internal teams and external custody network providers as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in custody operations, securities services, or banking operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies.
• Proven ability to work accurately with large data volumes under tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
