Corporate Finance Expert – Remote (up to $100/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Corporate Finance Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help AI research teams improve the quality of financial data used to train models, ensuring rigorous and accurate outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of financial models used in AI research.
• Review complex financial reports for alignment with domain principles.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to research teams to enhance training data.
• Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for AI‑generated financial tasks.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to maintain consistency across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Proven experience in financial modeling in a professional setting.
• Experience with financial reporting or financial analysis.
• Ability to work remotely with at least 10 hours per week.
