Cluster Director of Sales

About the role

Sofitel Luxembourg is seeking a results‑driven Cluster Director of Sales to lead commercial activities across its two luxury properties. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for generating revenue through proactive sales, strong client relationships, and deep market expertise in the luxury hospitality segment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an aggressive sales strategy covering rooms, F&B, and events.
• Drive new business acquisition and expand market share in the luxury segment.
• Set ambitious targets for a team of five and ensure consistent delivery.
• Build and maintain a high‑value client portfolio including corporate accounts, MICE, and event agencies.
• Negotiate major contracts and partnerships with key leisure and travel partners.
• Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions.
• Manage online distribution channels (OTAs, brand.com) and optimize performance.
• Track sales performance, KPIs, and revenue metrics, adjusting tactics as needed.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong background in corporate accounts, MICE, and event agency sales.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Deep understanding of local and international market dynamics.

Required skills

• Experience with online distribution platforms (OTAs, brand.com).
• Proficiency in revenue management and pipeline management.
• Ability to analyze sales data and KPIs.
