Client Accountant

About the role

The Client Accountant joins the Asset Services team in Luxembourg, providing full‑cycle accounting support for multiple clients and projects. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain the general ledger, and collaborate closely with property managers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting, including cash management, AP/AR, accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reporting packages in line with internal controls and client requirements.
• Research, analyse and communicate complex accounting issues, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain fixed‑asset ledgers, ensure proper capitalization and depreciation, and calculate straight‑line rent.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Coach junior accountants, lead team meetings, and assist with onboarding and project leadership.

Required profile

• College degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of relevant accounting experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with Yardi, MRI, or other real‑estate accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
