Business Intelligence Engineer – Supply Chain (EU)

About the role

Amazon Supply Chain is the engine behind the world’s fastest‑growing e‑commerce business. The SC Engineering EThOS team creates technology solutions for complex, cross‑functional supply‑chain challenges across Europe. We are looking for a data‑driven professional who enjoys deep analysis, building predictive models, and automating planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers, applied scientists and data engineers to design and implement data models, pipelines, and automation tools.
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards and visualizations that support inventory placement, fulfillment optimization, and cost‑to‑serve analysis.
• Lead critical technology initiatives that improve delivery speed, reliability, and operational cost.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate business experiments and drive data‑based decisions.

Required profile

• Experience analyzing data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL or similar databases.
• Proficiency with visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy or PowerBI.
• Knowledge of statistical testing (t‑test, chi‑squared) and data‑science scripting languages (Python, Java, or R).
• Strong SQL skills and background in data/BI environments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in a technical field is preferred.
