Business Development Supervising Associate - Banking, Capital Markets & Insurance

About the role

EY Luxembourg is hiring a Business Development Supervising Associate for its Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance sectors. The role works directly with Sector Leaders, Account Leaders and client-serving teams to drive market growth, strengthen strategic client relationships and execute the sector go-to-market agenda. It combines account management, market intelligence, commercial planning, pursuit support and sector growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support Sector and Account Leaders in developing and executing growth plans for priority clients, maintain account intelligence and prepare client briefings, executive summaries and account reviews.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and competitive developments, and turn them into actionable recommendations and sector intelligence reports.
• Support the identification, qualification and advancement of opportunities, coordinate pursuit activities, help draft proposals and presentations, and track the pipeline.
• Take part in client meetings, support client events and roundtables, and help coordinate EY's presence at industry conferences.
• Support the execution of the sector growth strategy, annual business planning and business development campaigns, and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Work closely with Partners, Directors and Managers, handle sensitive commercial information confidentially and manage multiple priorities.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
• About 3-5 years of experience in business development, account management, consulting, financial services, marketing or professional services.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and ability to analyse market information.
• Excellent command of French and English, written and spoken.
• Ideally: previous experience in banking, insurance, asset management or financial services, knowledge of the Luxembourg financial services landscape, and familiarity with CRM or pipeline management tools.
