Business Analyst – Operating Model & Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading global financial services organisation on a 12‑month consulting mission in Luxembourg. The role focuses on designing and implementing a future‑state operating model as part of a large‑scale transformation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and rollout of a target operating model using a structured, top‑down approach.
• Analyse current‑state processes, identify gaps and propose improvement opportunities.
• Produce multi‑level process documentation, including high‑level maps, detailed workflows and procedural guides.
• Collaborate with operational readiness and programme teams to ensure global alignment.
• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for process, governance and transformation activities.
• Identify, manage and escalate programme risks, issues and dependencies.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business, technology and programme teams.
• Support governance, business readiness and change‑management activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑wide transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across global teams.
• Resilient, adaptable and solutions‑oriented mindset.
