Business Analyst – Finance Transformation (Senior & Junior Roles)

About the role

We are building a Core Team of five Finance Transformation experts for a strategic initiative at a leading banking institution in Luxembourg. The team will cover senior and junior Business Analyst positions across Procurement‑to‑Pay, Budgeting & Financial Planning, Accounting & Financial Reporting, and cross‑stream support.

Key responsibilities

• Redesign invoicing, payment execution, vendor reconciliation and expense workflows (P2P).
• Develop cost allocation methodologies, forecasting models and performance management modules.
• Re‑engineer General Ledger architecture, month‑end/year‑end closing processes and regulatory data flows.
• Capture workshop outputs, ensure documentation traceability and assist senior analysts with deliverables.

Required profile

• Senior roles: 8–15+ years of experience in ERP‑enabled finance transformations.
• Junior support roles: 1–3 years of experience as a Junior BA, PMO or project support in a corporate finance environment.
• Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services is mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in ERP finance modules (SAP FI, Oracle Financials).
• Deep knowledge of P2P processes.
• Proficiency with EPM/planning tools such as Anaplan, Hyperion or Tagetik.
