Business Analyst – COTS Solutions

About the role

Quento Technologies, the ICT arm of the Qualco Group, is looking for a senior Business Analyst to lead the evaluation, selection and implementation of Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) solutions that support digital transformation for its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture organisational needs and translate them into functional requirements for COTS solutions.
• Analyse existing processes and workflows to ensure alignment with potential COTS offerings.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to elicit, validate and prioritise requirements.
• Research, evaluate and compare market‑available COTS products, assessing functionality, cost, benefits and compliance.
• Prepare and assess vendor proposals, RFIs and RFOs, supporting procurement decisions.
• Develop business cases, feasibility studies and cost‑benefit analyses to justify investments.
• Work closely with solution architects, technical teams and vendors to convert requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Support deployment, migration, user‑acceptance testing and post‑implementation monitoring to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software analysis, evaluation, selection, acquisition or integration.
• Proven track record in evaluating and selecting COTS solutions, including market research and vendor assessment.
• Strong knowledge of the COTS software market, leading vendors, industry trends and evaluation methodologies.
