Analyst – First Mile Analytics (EU)

About the role

As an Analyst in the Long Term Planning – First Mile Analytics team, you will shape topology and network planning decisions for Amazon’s European first‑mile network. You will balance cost, speed and customer experience while collaborating with topology, regionalization and planning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, own and maintain analytical frameworks and models that guide topology and network planning across Europe.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of regionalization strategies, evaluating trade‑offs between local fulfillment, cross‑border flows and in‑stock positioning.
• Build and enhance data pipelines, dashboards and automated reporting solutions to provide visibility into key KPIs for senior leadership.
• Perform scenario modelling and simulations to quantify the impact of network changes on cost‑to‑serve and delivery speed.
• Identify inefficiencies in the current network topology, produce actionable insights and quantified business cases.
• Partner with Science and Engineering teams to translate analytical findings into scalable, automated planning tools.
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery of analytical projects, managing timelines, dependencies and risks.
• Communicate complex findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences through clear narratives, documents and presentations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to manage both analytical work (≈75%) and project delivery (≈25%).
• Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
