AML/KYC Officer – Structured Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AML/KYC Officer to join a leading banking client in Luxembourg. The role focuses on onboarding, reviewing, and monitoring corporate clients operating within a Structured Finance environment, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AML/KYC onboarding and periodic reviews for corporate and structured finance clients.
• Analyse complex ownership and control structures to identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and assess AML and reputational risks.
• Review corporate documentation and conduct due‑diligence in line with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients, relationship managers, agents and external advisors to gather missing information.
• Perform sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening using tools such as World‑Check.
• Prepare AML/KYC files and present findings to internal approval committees.
• Monitor existing client relationships to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Support portfolio management activities related to client monitoring and risk assessment.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in banking, financial services, asset management or corporate banking.
• Strong experience in AML/KYC onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Proven ability to analyse complex corporate structures and ownership chains.
• Experience with Private‑Equity owned entities is highly desirable.
• Exposure to structured finance, corporate lending or leveraged finance is an advantage.
