AIV Engineer – Bilingual (English/French) – Luxembourg

About the role

ALTEN Luxembourg is seeking an AIV Engineer to support client projects in the aerospace sector. The role combines software and hardware expertise to design, develop, and maintain test environments for spacecraft subsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain test benches and test environments.
• Collaborate with system engineering teams to define test strategies and design corresponding environments.
• Develop and execute tests, troubleshoot software, hardware, and communication issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in test design, implementation, analysis, and execution.
• Support spacecraft integration activities, including digital twin development and hands‑on electrical integration.
• Create innovative test strategies to ensure mission success.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in software, electronics, embedded systems, or a related field.
• Strong debugging and system‑level troubleshooting abilities.
• Creative thinking combined with rigorous discipline.
• Flexibility, agility, and eagerness to learn in a multidisciplinary, geographically distributed environment.
• English fluency required; French is an asset.
