Aircraft Mechanic

About the role

CAE Aviation is seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic to join our maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and regulatory standards while supporting a variety of government and commercial operators.

Key responsibilities

• Perform base and line maintenance tasks and troubleshooting as required.
• Ensure all duties comply with applicable regulations and company instructions.

Required profile

• Hold an EASA Part‑66 AML (B1.1, B1.2 or B2) or FAA A&P certificate.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Type rating or experience on Beech 90/100/200/300 series aircraft.
• Type rating or experience on Casa C‑212 aircraft.
• Type rating or experience on Cessna 208 series aircraft.
• Type rating or experience on Fairchild SA226/227 aircraft.
• Type rating or experience on Saab SF340 aircraft.
• Experience with PT6 turboprop engines.
• Experience with TPE331 turboprop engines.
