Aircraft Mechanic

About the role

CAE Aviation is seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic to join its maintenance team. You will be responsible for both base and line maintenance tasks, ensuring aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for operational missions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform base and line maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of aircraft.
• Execute work in compliance with applicable aviation regulations and company instructions.
• Document maintenance actions and ensure all paperwork is accurate and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Hold an EASA Part‑66 AML (B1.1, B1.2 or B2) or a FAA A&P certificate.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• EASA Part‑66 AML B1.1/B1.2/B2 or FAA A&P certification.
• Experience with PT6 or TPE331 engines (nice‑to‑have).
• Type rating or hands‑on experience with Beech 90/100/200/300 series, Casa C‑212, Cessna 208 series, Fairchild SA226/227, or Saab SF340 (nice‑to‑have).
