AIFM Compliance Officer (Regulatory Control)

About the role

The AIFM Compliance Officer (RC) is responsible for ensuring that fundcraft meets all legal and regulatory obligations in the fast‑moving asset‑management environment of Luxembourg. Reporting to the Conducting Officer and the Board, you will safeguard the firm’s reputation through rigorous AML/CFT oversight, policy management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update internal manuals, policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance fundcraft’s digital platform for AML/CFT compliance and reporting.
• Serve as the escalation point for AML/CFT issues and conduct KYC/KYT/KYA checks on investors and investments.
• Participate in the Client Acceptance Committee and evaluate AML risk scoring for prospects, clients and funds.
• Maintain accurate data in the proprietary compliance platform and coordinate transaction follow‑up with internal and external parties.
• Develop and deliver internal training on AML/CFT regulations and monitor the compliance monitoring plan.
• Identify regulatory changes (SFDR, DORA, GDPR) and ensure timely adaptation.
• Prepare internal and external compliance reports, including Regulatory Compliance (RC) reports for the AIFM.
• Analyse and escalate alerts related to suspicious activity, sanctions or potential breaches.
• Support audit tasks and filing of mandatory regulatory reports.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT regulatory frameworks and compliance platforms.
• Ability to work closely with IT teams to optimise digital compliance solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for internal training and stakeholder interaction.
