AI Architect

About the role

Sogeti is looking for an experienced AI Architect to design and maintain modern data architectures that support business objectives. You will lead the creation of data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses, and drive the integration of cutting‑edge AI and generative AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse) aligned with business needs.
• Develop and optimise data pipelines using modern formats such as Parquet.
• Lead cloud‑based data and AI initiatives on platforms like Azure, AWS, and OVH.
• Design and integrate AI/GenAI solutions, including LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
• Evaluate AI models for performance, bias, and quality.
• Implement MLOps/LLMOps and CI/CD practices.
• Enforce data governance, security, lineage, and GDPR compliance.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT stakeholders, providing clear documentation and communication.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 10 years of experience in data or architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with AI, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
