Accounting Manager – Investment Accounting

About the role

CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its Luxembourg investment accounting team. You will oversee the delivery of accounting, financial and regulatory reporting for a portfolio of Luxembourg‑based real‑estate and investment fund structures, ensuring high‑quality client service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of investment accounting professionals, coordinating workloads and ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
• Oversee preparation and review of accounting records, financial statements and annual accounts in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP (Lux GAAP).
• Review complex accounting transactions, analyse variances and produce clear management reports.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and valuation specialists.
• Support regulatory and tax compliance initiatives and contribute to system and process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund accounting for real‑estate or investment funds, preferably within Luxembourg structures.
• Strong technical accounting expertise with the ability to interpret complex transactions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a deadline‑driven environment.
