Accountant – Private Equity & Real Estate (Luxembourg)

About the role

Join an international investment company operating in private equity and real estate, strengthening its Luxembourg finance team in a collaborative, in‑house environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing processes, preparing supporting schedules and reconciliations.
• Record, reconcile and monitor intercompany transactions across the group.
• Support preparation of VAT returns and other indirect tax filings, liaising with external advisors and tax authorities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist the finance team with ad‑hoc projects, financial analyses, process optimisation and audit documentation.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of accounting or external audit experience in Luxembourg, preferably in a fiduciary, asset‑management or financial‑services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Organised, proactive and eager to develop technical skills for a long‑term career.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; knowledge of Yardi or similar platforms is highly appreciated.
• Ability to prepare VAT returns and manage indirect tax documentation.
