Accountant – Luxembourg Real Estate Holding

About the role

Join Brookfield's Luxembourg office as an Accountant within the Finance team. You will work closely with local legal colleagues and finance teams abroad, handling general accounting and reporting for Luxembourg‑based holding companies and their European real‑estate subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Review, post and pay supplier invoices and manage quarterly inter‑company and cash transactions.
• Participate proactively in quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under Lux GAAP and, where applicable, IFRS.
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns and liaise with tax authorities, advisors and auditors.
• Support cash‑management cycles and budgeting activities.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a fiduciary, Big 4 or asset‑management environment.
• Proactive, dynamic team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in an international, multi‑language setting.

Required skills

• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Experience with Viewpoint and/or Yardi accounting systems.
