Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join Broad Street Luxembourg, a human‑sized company within the Goldman Sachs group. You will support financial reporting, tax provision calculations and GAAP reconciliations while working in a diverse, challenging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain records of financial transactions.
• Prepare interim, annual, monthly and quarterly accounts and reports.
• Perform GAAP reconciliation across US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Calculate tax provisions and review tax returns.
• Liaise with external parties such as tax advisors, auditors, joint‑venture partners, asset and property managers.
• Coordinate with internal and international departments of Goldman Sachs.
• Respond to accounting queries and handle administrative issues.
• Prepare distribution memorandums, ensure administrative compliance and manage filing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of accounting or financial control experience in Luxembourg, preferably with exposure to private‑equity, real‑estate or debt investments.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Team‑player with a hands‑on mentality, able to work independently and accurately.
• Good understanding of accounting techniques, procedures and organizational skills.
• Pro‑active, service‑oriented, detail‑focused and adaptable to change.
